This song is about a man who never had a mother because he was born from an experiment. The man in the song seeks revenge against the mother that never gave birth to him, while at the same time expressing love for the same mother, exposing the duality in some mother-son relationships in which hate and love exist in parallel to each other.
Actually, on second thought, I still got something wrong: Stirn is not face, it is forehead. If it were face, the German lyric would have been “Gesist”

Isn’t this better translated as: Even if I must die?
I can see how this is veru similar to Frankenstein, as Victor Frankenstein creates the monster, but realising it’s vulgar appearance, he thinks it evil and abandons it. The monsters is left feeling alone. The monster feels great amounts of love for it’s father and wonders why it was abandoned, it then seeks revenge on it’s father for not being there to raise it like the child it essentially was.
I am considering using such a link on a English Litrature essay, I think it works a lot better than my friends link to Batman.

i once heard this song loudly in the garage of a friend and during the part ” i could not lik the nipples” his mother came in. we are all germans and understand the lyrics^^ she didn’t know songs by rammstein before, this was very very funny xD
