Rammstein Küss mich lyric with English translation

Sie hält immer still
weil sie gefingert werden will
bläht sich auf im dürren Gras
das feuchte Äugelein wird nass

Gefangen in der Finsternis
sieht sie nie das Licht der Sonne
vor Geilheit zuckend fleht sie dann
die Zunge in dem Manne an

Küss mich

Sie beißt sich in jeder Zunge fest
weil sie sich gerne lecken lässt
doch weil es etwas bitter schmeckt
wird sie selten nur geküsst

Gefangen in...

Küss mich

Die Zunge kriecht jetzt aus dem Mund
und schlägt ihr wild und in Extase
mehrmals heftig ins Gesicht
sie blutet schrecklich aus der Nase

Gefangen in...

Küss mich
auf meine feuchten Lippen
küss mich
auch wenn es bitter schmeckt
küss mich
She always keeps still
because she wants to be fingered
she puffs herself up in the dry grass
the moist little eyes become wet

Caught in the darkness
she never sees the light of the sun
she begs, twitching of lewdness
her tongue inside the man

Kiss me

She bites in every tongue tightly
because she enjoys letting herself be licked
but because it tastes a bit bitter
she is seldom kissed

Caught in...

Kiss me

Now the tongue crawls out of the mouth
and hits her, wild in ecstasy
several times violently in her face
she is bleeding terribly from her nose

Caught in...

Kiss me
on my moist lips
kiss me
even if it tastes bitter
kiss me

This song is about a woman who desires oral sex but seldom obtains it because of its taste. “˜Frog’ is used in German as slang for female genitals. The song uses many interesting effects; one can even hear throughout the song a noise used in various cartoon shows.

“Kuss Mich” has never been played live.

  1. well actually…
in the first verse, the first line’s last word rhymes with the second line’s, and the third line’s rhymes with the fourth line’s.

but then, in the second verse, only the first two lines’ last words rhyme.

and in the third verse, only the second and fourth lines’ last words rhyme

  2. It is actually far more explicit than you imagine.
    Look at the structure:
“Sie beißt sich in jeder Zunge fest
weil sie sich gerne lecken lässt
doch weil es etwas bitter schmeckt
    wird sie selten nur geküsst”

    “fest” rimes with “lässt”.
“schmeckt” does not rime with “geküsst”

Listen closely, what is actually sung is actually more like this:
“doch weil es etwas bitter schmeckt
wird sie selten nur ge-… geküsst”

You might note that “geleckt” (licked) would rime with “schmeckt”. You could imagine that this word was started to e spoken but then chanced to a different word…

  3. …Read the footnotes. In German “Frosch” is used for female genitalia. The bitter taste is because…well it can taste pretty bad.

If that isn’t enough, the full name of the song is “Küss mich (Fellfrosch)” which means “Kiss me (Furry Frog)”

  4. i like the cartoon noise, the mix between the very sexual and juvenile just makes it funnier
i want to hear it live

  5. I agree with Ryan. All those lines and especially the part where it says “but because it tastes a bit bitter she is seldom kissed” portray her as being a frog. You don’t see many people kissing frogs and it would be expected to taste bad/bitter in this case. Her moist eyes become wet because she turned into an amphibian so she lives in or around water making her wet, therefore her eyes are wet rather than just moist. The grass is said to be dry because it is compared to her and she is much wetter. Her begging is her croaking during the night. she is begging to be kissed because she is “twitching of lewdness” meaning she has a strong sexual desire. All the facts back up Ryan’s statement that she is a frog princess who wants to be kissed in order to be changed back into a human.

  6. Hasn’t anyone thought that maybe she is kina like a frog, maybe a frog princess wanting to be turned back? Waiting to be kissed in the grass, puffing her self up? She is trapped in the darkness, kinda like how a frog usually just comes out at night.

  7. This is RAMMSTEIN having a lil fun…even they can do that once in a while, i love the lyrics AND the toungue cartoon effect is hilarious, i can’t help but mimic it when i hear it!

  8. Too me, the “cartoon noise” reminds of me when a character gets their tongue pulled, and then let loose causing it to roll up and continue spinning. It adds to the message behind the song in my opinion 🙂

  9. I think the song could have done without the cartoon flabbery noise… it just sounds juvenile for Rammstein.
