“Du riecht so gut” could also be translated in English as, “your scent is so utterly desirable”.
That would be the most literal translation, in my humble opinion.
This can refer to a predator, but also to how a mother smells to a child, how a girl smells to a man falling in love with her. The song is about passion, expressing the feeling of it, with many interpretations possible. A predator would be just one interpretation.

You actually could say “Smell so Well” However, this would refer to the capacity to smell, in the sense that the predator smells well, and to his capable nose the prey smells good.

hi everyone, can ‘reicht’ also mean ’empire’ cos in history in school i saw a speech by hitler (and no im NOT saying rammstein or germans today r nazis, just quoting old history) cos hitler says ‘ein volk, ein reich, ein fuhrer’ one people, one empire, one leader’. please clear this up for me. thanks
