JOSEY SCOTT said in a recent interview that he was the one who was supposed to record the rap part in EVANESCENCE’s smash hit song “Bring Me To Life”:
“I was asked to record the ‘Bring Me To Life’ song. But our schedules overlapped and I couldn’t record it. So the guy from 12 STONES did it.”
When an interviewer for The Metal Summit noted that the rap section in “Bring Me To Life” is stylistically “very” reminiscent of Josey, the singer responded:
“I definitely get goosebumps running down my spine every time I hear that song.”
