Well, international football happens only every two years, and in the meantime many other things happen (soon, the Olympics... London is really beautiful these days. The rings hanging from Tower Bridge, really impressive. I saw them on Saturday and I felt happy that happens in "my" town
This morning I got up earlier than usual in order to read the latest news from the LHC and the potential finding of the Higgs boson, which, in sort, is responsible for the mass of other particles, and therefore one of the fundamental bricks of our universe.
Back in 2001, when I finished my degree in geology, I enroled for a 5-year degree in Physics (at that time, all the degrees in Spain were 5 years, so like doing a BSc plus a MSc in UK or USA). Unfortunately, or fortunately, I had some other things to do and study and eventually I didn't advance much and I continue specialising in what is now my profession. However, I will always have the intention of completing it.
I can write pages and pages about science, especially my science (geology and petroleum exploration), but it is not my intention to bore you.
Just... that I am very excited!!
We are overflown with information now. Nothing stays in the news for longer than 30 minutes. But this finding should be sending us back to the epic days of physics in the 20 and 30, when so much was discovered by so many. We live today a scientific breakthrough that will be studied in the future as one of the milestones of modern science... but, it just flows and goes, soon forgotten by most people.
I am going to listen to last album from Bjork... and work!!«The trouble with the world is that the stupid is cocksure and the intelligent full of doubt»

Good Afternoon ! Slept late because I was up late reading 50 shades of grey. Wow is all can say. I hope to get the second book today, but today is July 4th so many stores may not be open. ___________________ Happy 4th Of July Yankees ! I wish we still had Britian governing us because 1. We would have better healthcare despite how many English state they want privatised and 2. we would be part of the EU and could travel all around EU and lived wherever. That would be ace.___________________________ I have been having trouble with spacing while on my mobile, even if I double space it runs all my sentences together and I can't edit my posts to fix them and sometimes it will post half of what I write. What a pain, no idea why the mobile is doing this. It does it whether or not I use the full reply or quick reply. I will have to google it. That is why I made lines to seperate my thoughts, I hope they show up and it doesn't slam the letters on top of the lines.

Now let me vent: Dear messaging system, I have a fucking important message to send to two persons before I go to Berlin so I can make fucking plans and you won't let me reply? GRRRRRR!!!! I am frustrated and I may have to get ahold of someone on the phone now...which costs me $2 a minute since I am overseas!!! -Love, Maddie.

The weather in Finland has been crappy lately, but yesterday we had an amazingly beautiful and warm day, that should continue for the next few days too! I hope you'll get a lot of sunshine and that it would last a bit longer than just one day.
