One of the resions rammstein refuses to come to the U.S is because they played is massachusits and because of what they did in a live preformince of buck dich they where arested. also, somehow, the fanbase is not strong here in the U.S. some 120,000 people would see them probably. Also, and this is just my assumtion, and i am in no way stereotyping east germans, growing up in the USSR may have given them a sence of hate to the west.
