Rammstein Amerika (english version) lyric

We're all living in Amerika,
Amerika is wonderful,
We're all living in Amerika,
Amerika, Amerika.

We're all living in Amerika,
Amerika is wonderful,
We're all living in Amerika,
Amerika, Amerika.

Do you want me?(No, I don't)
Do you need me? (No, I don't)
Dance with me while I'm leading? (No, I can't)
Will you love me? (No, I won't)
This is not a love song. (No, its not)
I don't sing my mothers tongue. (No, I don't)
Africa for Santa Claus.
and near Paris stands Mickey Mouse.

We're all living in Amerika...

We're all living in Amerika,
America is wonderful,
We're all living in Amerika,
Amerika, Amerika

Will you do it? (No, I won't)
Should you do it? (No, I don't)
Could you do it? (No, I can't)
Will you please me? (No, I won't)
If you don't want me... (You'll get hurt)
If you don't need me... (You'll get hurt)
If you don't love me... (You'll get hurt)
Fuck you is the magic word.

We're all living in Amerika,
Amerika is wonderful,
We're all living in Amerika,
Amerika, Amerika

We're all living in Amerika,
Coca-Cola, wonderbra,
We're all living in Amerika,
Amerika, Amerika.

This is not a love song,
No, this is not a love song.
This is how we do it, you'll get hurt
Fuck you is the sweetest word.

We're all living in Amerika,
Amerika is wonderful,
We're all living in Amerika,
Amerika, Amerika.

We're all living in Amerika,
Coca-Cola, sometimes war.
We're all living in Amerika,
Amerika, Amerika.

  1. I see there’s some argument over no matter whether that joke was interesting or not. I suggest we settle the situation properly: let’s all gather and have a muscle size debate. Elanor Dieter

  2. Hey Nicole, I’m listening to the English version of Amerika on Youtube, and sure enough, it does say “Africa for Santa Claus, und vor Paris steht Mickey Maus”.

  3. @Nicole, it’s okay. Just remember that its always hard to interpret text as it has no personality value. The reason why I said you may have the english version is because of the lyrics you posted. I wasn’t under the impression that you knew german (mine is very weak heh) and I apologize as well.

No you did not, but I took what you wrote as if I didn’t know which version I was listening to, as if I didn’t understand English well. I’m sorry for getting so riled up at you.

  5. @Nicole. I don’t believe at any point I made it out that you did not understand english and I also do not appreciate your attitude when I was only trying to help. If you are going to have a hissy fit then just move on.

I don’t know what language u think I speak here in AUSTRALIA but I speak English fluently and can fucking understand it. SO I KNOW WHICH VERSION I AM LISTENING TO! I have both and can understand both versions of Amerika, but I was listening to the song (in English!) and reading the lyrics above and went Huh, my version doesn’t sound like it says this, it says this. I thought it was my bad version. So DO NOT treat me like I am ignorant and cant understand my mother tongue!!

    @Cvetic
Thanks, I will definitely look up those versions they sound interesting. I’m glad that I’m listening to a good version, even though the R+ songs in English aren’t my faves.

  7. It is the fault of a translator … You have definitely a good version of the song … Also, I recommend songs Amerika (Western-Remix) and Amerika (Electro Ghetto Remix)…

  8. Hey let me know if I’m wrong, but I’m listening to this song and in mine, I definitely hear “und vor Paris steht Mickey Mouse” not “and near Paris stands Mickey Mouse” Idk but I could just have a fucked up vers coz a friend gave me this. Just wanna know if anyone else has the same.

  9. I havn’t heard this one i didn’t even know there was an english version of Amerika. Rammstein sounds better in german than in english though … notabably engel english version :Excellent lyrics just doesn’t sound as IMPRESSIVE.
