German artist Faderhead released a track “Better” with Chris Harms from Lord of the Lost. The video and the song are already available on all digital platforms.
Here’s how Faderhead describes his new track:
«I know that most of my listeners always want me to release another club hit. And that would be easy to do. But for some reason, the muse, the universe, or fate, or my heart wanted me to do something else. And for some reason, despite all my efforts to create and release other music, the song “Better” just appeared and stuck. At one point, I thought it was useless to fight against the Universe, and I asked my friend Chris Harms (Lord Of The Lost) if he would sing with me in “Better”. He said “yes” within 3 minutes of receiving my email. “Better” is a ballad with guitars and orchestral brass, and an 808 bass. It’s not what was expected of me, but it’s what was needed. It’s a song about looking at yourself in this world. Life seems to be fading away sometimes: so slow that you can see it. And if you start to think, it seems that the days with brighter prospects seem to be in the past. I think most people understand that feeling right now. The words of Alejandro Jodorowsky, “What is the purpose of life – to create your soul!” accompanied me when I thought about it. As the creator of my soul, I shift my focus to what I can touch and what I can influence. Instead of simply disappearing into our lives, disappearing into the dark becomes a journey into the suspense. And the goal is not to get into some fantasy land at the end of the road, but perhaps to collect little treasures in my soul with every experience which I go through. So ultimately it’s up to me whether it gets better or gets darker.»
