As part of a recent conversation, CANNIBAL CORPSE drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz was asked what it was like to be the fathers of the dead rock scene:
“It’s cool! I mean, we showed up in the right place at the right time, and it all grew, so we just got a little lucky. And it’s really cool and exciting that we were able to help create a whole genre. And the fact that thirty-odd years later we are still relevant is simply incredible! So this is really a great achievement, and it’s great to feel that we are one of the first and still in the ranks and firmly on our feet!»
