What is going on here with the creativity?

I just saw something that might have been the new album cover art for Made in Germany. Another Michael Jackson album? No, this is Rammstein! (source: rammstein.de). And why does Ollie have his eyes closed? Because Michael Jackson is dead?

And here we have another great similarity found by our visitors (thanx nicky):

Question of the day: Why would a band singing about blood coagulating on the asphalt want to be as soft as Beach boys or Michael Jackson before the upcoming tour? Feel free to comment in the comment section 🙂

  1. MIG cover resembles a death-mask… NOOOO
Either it’s Rammstein’s irony, trolling, typical strange cover art or this is actually the end… 🙁

  2. The MIG Cover Looks Nothing Like Michael’s; MIG Is A Bust Of Oli While Michael Is Just A Grey And White Michael. And With Mein Land, It’s Just An Homage To The Beach Boys.

  3. If this will be the cover of MIG, then I’m a lil’ bit dissapointed. I’ve waited something darker (in any way that u can think) and simpler.
Mein Land cover, funny (gay) and strange, but I don’t give a sh*t about the picture.
They always choosed stupid covers. The only one I hate is the cover of Mutter.

I’ve seen the setlist yesterday (in a pic of course) and I think we have to prepare ourselves for something orbital perversion. 😀

  4. Oops. hehe. Must comment. With the MIG cover. Out of all the rammstein members, i thought Kruspe, Linemann and Flake stood out the most, and are well known throughout the world. I like Riedel, but should he be on the front cover of the best of. If so, answer. (Don’t start any arguments, cause i’ll own your arse.)

  5. I personally believe that the setlist is weird, only because they start with Sonne. I thought sonne was a more ending sort of song. The MIG cover is a bit, sorry, gay, non-rammsteinish. I know its sorta like sensucht, but that was dark, and told people about the album. MIG ain’t gonna be nice and happy. Mein Land, i can understand. It’s cool how they’re mocking the beach boys, and fairly funny. Hope its a good filmclip, and it comes out on my BDAY (November 11). Good pressie. RAMMSTEIN FOREVER. Kruspe is God

  6. Thanks for the set list James, looks promising. I am sure they are true professionals and do not mock anyone. They must like the look or they would not use the pictures.

  7. I think Rammstein were mocking the Beach Boys. And the pic with Ollie is similar to the Sensucht era, just a different touch. Anyway, I like them!

  8. has it ever been any different?

  9. Rammstein is all about contrast. Look at Ich Tu Der Weh, it is sung so beautifully yet lyrically it might be the most sinister of all. Its all part of the rammplan, look innocent and cute but dig deeper you find the violent machinery. As for the best of cover art, reminds me of a mix between the artwork of the first two albums.
