According to RadarOnline.com, PUDDLE OF MUDD lead singer Wesley “Wes” Scantlin was arrested Monday (Feb. 20) after he allegedly showed up at the old house he lost to foreclosure.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department inmate information center indicates that the 50-year-old musician was arrested in Hollywood around 11:00 a.m. and taken to jail on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Although Scantlin was originally held on $1,000 bail, he was released on his own recognizance at 2:26 p.m.

According to RadarOnline.com, the arrest came after a woman on the social networking site TikTok claimed that a “famous rock singer” showed up at her Hollywood Hills home and refused to leave. In a video she posted on the platform, she said the man “positioned himself outside” and threatened her maid and ended up being arrested because there is a “valid restraining order against him.” The footage shows the man outside the house that Scantlin purchased in 2005 for $1.7 million. After Scantlin lost the estate to foreclosure a decade later, he was charged with vandalism and trespassing. In an incident in January 2016, Scantlin allegedly tried to break in through a window, and when that failed, he called a locksmith to change the locks. Scantlin then also ripped the alarm system out of the wall and caused other damage to the garage door and plumbing. The total damage to the house was nearly $7,000.
