FORUM RULES ABOUT WEB-BASED LINKS TO MUSIC AND VIDEO'S

Based on latest discussions on this forum, and studiing copyright laws, it is necessary to state out new forum mandatory rules, effective immediately, so, here we are.

LINKS TO MUSIC & VIDEOS: what is legal/what is not.
NEW RULES in the forum state:

From now on in our forum users shal NOT POST TOPICS THAT containin the following :
• Requests for or links to MP3s, music videos, or other files of questionable legality
• Bootlegs

So, please do not POST A LINK TO music or videos which does not directly originate from an officially legal site.

An OFFICIALLY LEGAL SITE is: rammstein.com or rammstein.de, universal music, a legitimate music site like MTV or VIVA. The links must be direct and linked only to the approved site. Any links which have copied and transferred the music or videos from an official legal site to ANYWHERE else are NOT OFFICIAL.

• Do not ASK FOR A LINK to music or videos. If there is a legal site for either listening or viewing, xTERNAL will provide the information in the NEWS section of www.RAMMSTEIN-EUROPE.com.

WHAT YOU CAN DO in the forums: You can DISCUSS a new song or a new video.

WHAT YOU CANNOT DO in the forums: provide illegal links or ask for links, give directions of any kind as to where something might be found (examples: file-sharing, other fansites, etc.). Screen caps will be allowed (within reason) AFTER a video has been made available through an OFFICIAL LEGAL LINK. Fan remixes of songs will be allowed (within reason) after the song has been officially released.

The above restrictions are necessary not because we are being “damn babies” or “. The reason is simply that RAMMSTEIN-EUROPE has made the decision to not be a facilitator of illegal activities involving copyrighted material. The reason for that is also clear. Rammstein’s Management has shown aggressive behaviour in combating copyright infringement.

Anyone who violates the spirit of the aforementioned expansion/explanation of what the RULES mean here as applied to music and videos (and this also includes the "making of videos") will meet up with one of the following consequences:

POST BLOCKED, LINK ERASED AND WORSE.... BANNED IF NECESSARY.

If you have ANY questions about what may or may not be acceptable here, you can always PM a Moderator and ask first before posting something that might get you in trouble here.

•any links to www.youtube.com (or other sharing sites of a similar nature)are generally not allowed.
While some videos like fan made items or spoof animations are allowed, we do not allow linking to youtube. Oftentimes there is/are illegal videos of Rammstein performances to the side of the linked videos. Actual Rammstein Videos which are very illegal to be hosted by that site - therefore we cannot allow links to youtube to be allowed.

So, links to youtube are now allowed - ONLY IF it is a fanmade video by you, and does not contain bootleg footage or footage of live performances or released performances. Stills from photos found on the net are OK. A montage is OK. Clips of released footage are NOT OK.

Please try to understand that sometimes while we may allow a certain individuals fanmade videos, and deny another persons it is usually because the content in it could get the forums in trouble.

Also if some individuals post their fanmade video and it turns out to be bootleg footage that they filmed themselves at a concert and consider that "fanmade" - then we will have to reverse the ruling on allowing fanmade videos PERIOD!

Here is an update on what is considered "fanmade".
Fanmade is fanmade. You did it yourself. Like cut and paste. You creatd everything yourself. No footage filmed by someone else no clips. Still images are OK.
For example:
If you go out and find 6 banana slugs in the yard, dress them up in LAB outfits, and put the skinniest one in a paper boat and play the music to SEEMANN on a kazoo. That is fanmade.

If you have a coverband and you do your own video or you have footage of YOUR band's performance. That is fanmade.

If you have images that you sketched of how you think the video for a song should have been and you put it to music - I think we can allow that.

Use your creativity.

IF YOU SEE VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, REPORT IT BY USING THE EXCLAMATION MARK IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF RELEVANT POST.

  • 15.02.2012 - Finland - Helsinki - Hartwall Areena / Rammstein

Hartwall Areena (often called Helsinki Areena, Helsingin Areena or Helsingforsarenan ('The Helsinki Arena') by the Finnish press) is a large multifunctional indoor arena located in Helsinki, Finland. The arena gets its name from its largest sponsor, the beverage company Hartwall, also based in Helsinki.

The idea of building the arena came from Harry Harkimo in 1994. It was built to be ready for the Ice Hockey World Championships in 1997 and was delivered by the constructor on April 11, 1997. The building is elliptical, 153 metres long and 123 metres wide. 37 meters under ground there is a practice arena which is used by many hockey teams.
Total capacity in ice hockey games is 13,349 (all seats). The arena is convertible for various events. For sport events, the capacity is about 10,000, about 14,000 for basketball, for concerts about 13,000, and as an amphitheatre, 3,000-5,000. It is connected to a multi-storey carpark, which has a total capacity of 1,421 vehicles.

It is recommended to buy tickets only via official distributor.

Whatever you do may seem insignificant, but it is most important that you do it.

Hopefully this time I make it to the gig! I have f**ked up twice everything, first in year 2010 I didn't get the tickets to Helsinki's gig, but I did have gig tickets, flying tickets to Müchen in year 2009 but I couldn't go there because of many reasons -.-'! I saw Rammstein 2010 in Provinssirock, Finland and damn! It was the best gig ever! First row <3

So now I have floortickets from pre-sale, what can go wrong anymore? (My knee surgery can be then :'''D)

I am so pissed off because I'm not able to go. Well, I've seen them twice but definitely would like to see them again! Hopefully they'll still continue playing after this tour.

Sad that you aren't able coming to the gig. I'm already so excited, and it's still August! Why is February still so far away?

Gaaaah. I am still considering whether or not I should come to this gig! School is ruining everything. It's my last year in senior high and we are leaving to a cruise with all the other senior students on February 16th, a day after the gig so I don't know that would I have time for everything. But I will give this gig a serious thought!

-Zwitter, I reallyreallyreally hope that they'll return to Provinssi @ 2012. :--) That would be awesome!

It amazes me that they are not going to do another concert in Finland. When the 2012 gigs were announced, it was sold out just in a few days after it was available for the LIFAD members. And when the official ticketsale started...what it was, like 15 minutes and 12,000 tickets sold. Same thing last years gig in Helsinki. But yeah, let's hope that they're coming to some of the summer festivals here, tough I was lucky to get a ticket to the gig in Helsinki...but one time seeing them in a year isn't enough for me! ;D

RZK: I've been thinking that same thing. It's like everytime R+ comes to Helsinki, the tickets are sold out like 10-20 minutes (yes, last time 15 minutes ) and I think that they won't do that gig number 2 because of hockey game (fo god's sakes HIFK, you can play on Ice rink if you really have to!). Yeah but I started to tell the same thing what I wrote on the finnish affenknecht already. ARGH I'm so pissed of! But I really hope they will come on next summer.

Finnish people: What do you think, which festival will take them? Ruisrock actually almost hates them (they almost cancelled the gig in year 2005, 'cause it was so "hard" and difficult to get the new stage from Russia), and after Provinssirock I heard from my friend (who worked there to Rammstein) that everyone was unhappy because finnish technics made few fights with Rammstein crew guys there, and there was other problems too... SO what we have left, Tuska and Sonisphere? It would be better if they just have their own gig in Olympic stadion or places like Suvilahti, Kalasatama etc... What do you think?

-Zwitter: Woah, when we are talking about a Hartwall Arena's event, you can blame those clowns called Jokerit ..they won't postpone their homegames no matter what event could be on the Arena...I think Rammstein only approves to play in Hartwall Arena (Jokeri's arena) because there are space for over 12,000 people, other place that could be possible place for a Rammstein concert would be Turku's Arena, there are over 10,000 seats too sry, if this went to a little offtopic.

RZK: Aaaa, I have always thought that hartwall is HIFK's arena DD Yeah, they really have to have so much space (what the other arenas don't have, which is pretty sad). Is there any arena in Tampere O.o big ones... But it would be cool that R+ would do own gig somewhere else than Helsinki...
