Rammstein Ramm4 lyric with English translation

Hier kommt die Sonne, das alte Leid
Der Meister singt: "Seid Ihr bereit?"
Mein Herz brennt, Feuer frei, Asche zu Asche
Bestrafer sein, Liebe ist für alle da
Bück Dich, Amerika
Ich tu Dir weh, Stein um Stein
Gott weiß, ich will kein Engel sein

Auferstanden aus Ruinen
Glück für Menschen und Maschinen
Eilt herbei von fern und nah
Wir sind wieder da!
Ja - Nein - RAMMSTEIN

Weisses Fleisch in der Dunkelheit
Du riechst so gut, Herzeleid
Wo bist du? Stirb nicht vor mir
Führe mich: Links 2-3-4
Du hast keine Lust
Zwei Herzen unter meiner Brust
Reise, Reise in mein Land
Bett in Flammen im Wasser verbrannt

Auferstanden aus Ruinen
Glück für Menschen und Maschinen
Eilt herbei von fern und nah
Wir sind wieder da!
Ja - Nein - RAMMSTEIN

Hallo, Hallo - Könnt Ihr uns hören?
Wir wollen die Ruhe stören
(Italy), es beginnt
Eine Melodie im Wind

Auferstanden aus Ruinen
Glück für Menschen und Maschinen
Eilt herbei von fern und nah
Wir sind wieder da!
Ja - Nein - RAMMSTEIN

Lyric © Rammstein
Here comes the sun, the ancient sorrow
The master sings, "are you ready?"
My heart burns, fire at will, ashes to ashes
Be a punisher, love is for everyone
Bend over, America
I hurt you, stone by stone
God knows, I don't want to be an angel

Risen from the ruins
Joy for men and machines
Makes haste from afar and nearby
We are back!
Yes - No - Rammstein

White flesh in the darkness
You smell so good, heartbreak
Where are you? Don't die before I do
Lead me: Left 2-3-4
You don't feel like it
Two hearts beneath my chest
Travel, travel in my country
A bed in flames burnt by water

Risen from the ruins
Joy for men and machines
Makes haste from afar and nearby
We are back!
Yes - No - Rammstein

Hello, hello - can you hear us?
We want to disturb the peace
(Italy), it begins
A melody in the wind

Risen from the ruins
Joy for men and machines
Makes haste from afar and nearby
We are back!
Yes - No - Rammstein

  • This song is yet unreleased and, maybe, not yet titled. According to fans who were able to visit the tour rehearsal in Berlin in 2016, the song contains parts of lyrics from older songs and a new chorus.
  • According to rumors Flake said that this song will be on the upcoming album.
  • Maybe “Ramm 4” is just a working title.

  1. I miss this song as official… it just disappeared from Spotify. 🙁
It was amazing to see them playing it as opening song for the concerts at Stadium Tour 2024!!

  2. Such a shame that this didn’t end up on Rammstein or Zeit. Was really hoping it would end up a studio track.

  3. Zwei Herzen Unter Meine Brust should be Zwei Seelen unter meiner Brust (Two souls under my breast) as in the line from Zwitter.

    • There’s an Emigrate song “Let’s Go”; there with Till sings “Zwei hertzen in mir schlagen, eins ist dein und eins ist mein”. I always thought it was a ref to that rather than to Zwitter.

  4. Little mistake in your German lyrics, second “Wir sind wieder da!” needs to be “Ihr seid wieder da!”. =)

    • y? “Wir sind wieder da!” means “We are back” And “Ihr seid wieder da!” Means you’re are back” Like they sing about that they are back. Not the crowed. xD

    • They sang both verses. First time they sang that they were there again; in the next chorus they sang about the audience (Ihr seid) being there again.

  5. “Auferstanden aus Ruinen
    Glück für Menschen und Maschinen”
    Reference to Eisenmann there?
    Reminds me a lot about
    “Panzer, Ketten und Maschinen
    Nägel, Schrauben und Turbinen”

  6. These lyrics are so fun and clever!
Got some of the jokes earlier but this translation is very helpful!
    Fuck yeah, they’re back!!

  7. ‘Auferstanden aus Ruinen’ or Risen from Ruins is the title of the national anthem of GDR, where the band is from.

  8. Ramm4 doesn’t seem to be just a working title anymore, since the Rammstein Official YouTube channel, as well as the Pinkpop recording state that it is called “Ramm4”

Although, as a title, it makes sense:
    Rammstein , 5 / 4 , Rammlied , Rammvier / Ramm4
    1 , 2 , 3 , 4

    • Do you mean that these songa are the ones that relate directly to them? Because if that’s the case, wouldn’t Los fit better than 5/4?

      • Huh, I never thought of that. That’s a pretty good observation. Although, 5/4 uses the voice samples which spell out: “R A M M S T E I N” (It’s hard to make out because of the distracting accent on the voice), whereas there is no reference of the word “Rammstein” in either version of Los, whilst there being reference (to) them.

I guess if we considered Los to be one of the anthems, the title would work better as being “Ramm5 / Rammfünf”, but then again, it would be easy to understand if Rammstein completely forgot about 5/4, as it was only played live about three times or so, and only made an insignificant release on a single.

        • On youtube a better explanation being: 1. Rammstein; 2. Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen; 3. Rammlied; 4. Ramm4.

This makes more sense because we only count those with clear “Rammstein” in the chorus.

          • Yeah, that’s what I figured, although technically wouldn’t it be Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen, Rammstein, Rammlied and Ramm4?

  9. Thank you for the lyrics and translation!
I’m not englisch, but some words I understand better in englisch than german, and the other way arround…
I just didn’t know what eilt herbei meant, now I know 😉
There’s just a mistake in the translation… ja nein rammstein is translated as: no yes rammstein, schould be: yes no rammstein :p

    • Yeah, I saw that when they were already posted 🙁 also, in the last verse it says “happiness” and it should say “joy”.

  10. I am the one who translated the song’s lyrics, and it’s kind of unexpected to see the low rating it’s getting :/ Sure, the lyrics are kind of lousy, and it isn’t Rammlied, but I think everything else is very good TBH.

    • I appreciate your translation. LOL at Buch Dich, Amerika translation. Didn’t notice the joke in that clever little line until I saw it in English. Yes I am an a Amerikan and can take a joke!
