The most underrated Rammstein song ever.
As for interpretation, I sort of get the same vibes as from the song “Closer” by Nine Inch Nails. To me, it’s a song about addiction, obsession, and sex-possibly involving pedophilia and/or incest, as seen in
“You are the most beautiful child of all
I hold you like my own blood”.
As such,
“you are the most beautiful child
even the bad is good, in me”,
seems to be representing the temptations of the said addition, whether that be to the cocaine or to the sex, despite how destructive the addiction is.
I believe that “cracie”is telling the truth about Rammstein in a periode was using drugs.I heard Till in an interviu (that was misspelled…ha ha ha)well,what the f…!Anyway,Till then said that at least he had been using cocaine,but that he in the end could not walk up stairs because he was so weak of the drugs.So he did not want to keep up with it and decided not to use it any more.That says it all about the man,he is strong in body and mind.

I’m having a little trouble comprehending this one. I understand and see connections to kokain most of the song but am having trouble with the last verse. Anyone get it?

Rammstein actually used to take cocaine durring sehnsucht era, but they said now they are “past experimenting with drugs” – Christoph Shneider and Till said he quit cocaine after he couldnt mount up the stairs while recording sehnsucht in stockholm, Richard said that berlin was a drug city and it was destructive towards him because of the drugs.
Till said they tried everything except injections, but now they are too old for experimenting and are off drugs. Now they only Smoke (cigs) and drink alcohol.
