Based on latest discussions on this forum, and studiing copyright laws, it is necessary to state out new forum mandatory rules, effective immediately, so, here we are.

LINKS TO MUSIC & VIDEOS: what is legal/what is not.
NEW RULES in the forum state:

From now on in our forum users shal NOT POST TOPICS THAT containin the following :
• Requests for or links to MP3s, music videos, or other files of questionable legality
• Bootlegs

So, please do not POST A LINK TO music or videos which does not directly originate from an officially legal site.

An OFFICIALLY LEGAL SITE is: or, universal music, a legitimate music site like MTV or VIVA. The links must be direct and linked only to the approved site. Any links which have copied and transferred the music or videos from an official legal site to ANYWHERE else are NOT OFFICIAL.

• Do not ASK FOR A LINK to music or videos. If there is a legal site for either listening or viewing, xTERNAL will provide the information in the NEWS section of

WHAT YOU CAN DO in the forums: You can DISCUSS a new song or a new video.

WHAT YOU CANNOT DO in the forums: provide illegal links or ask for links, give directions of any kind as to where something might be found (examples: file-sharing, other fansites, etc.). Screen caps will be allowed (within reason) AFTER a video has been made available through an OFFICIAL LEGAL LINK. Fan remixes of songs will be allowed (within reason) after the song has been officially released.

The above restrictions are necessary not because we are being “damn babies” or “. The reason is simply that RAMMSTEIN-EUROPE has made the decision to not be a facilitator of illegal activities involving copyrighted material. The reason for that is also clear. Rammstein’s Management has shown aggressive behaviour in combating copyright infringement.

Anyone who violates the spirit of the aforementioned expansion/explanation of what the RULES mean here as applied to music and videos (and this also includes the "making of videos") will meet up with one of the following consequences:

If you have ANY questions about what may or may not be acceptable here, you can always PM a Moderator and ask first before posting something that might get you in trouble here.

•any links to (or other sharing sites of a similar nature)are generally not allowed.
While some videos like fan made items or spoof animations are allowed, we do not allow linking to youtube. Oftentimes there is/are illegal videos of Rammstein performances to the side of the linked videos. Actual Rammstein Videos which are very illegal to be hosted by that site - therefore we cannot allow links to youtube to be allowed.

So, links to youtube are now allowed - ONLY IF it is a fanmade video by you, and does not contain bootleg footage or footage of live performances or released performances. Stills from photos found on the net are OK. A montage is OK. Clips of released footage are NOT OK.

Please try to understand that sometimes while we may allow a certain individuals fanmade videos, and deny another persons it is usually because the content in it could get the forums in trouble.

Also if some individuals post their fanmade video and it turns out to be bootleg footage that they filmed themselves at a concert and consider that "fanmade" - then we will have to reverse the ruling on allowing fanmade videos PERIOD!

Here is an update on what is considered "fanmade".
Fanmade is fanmade. You did it yourself. Like cut and paste. You creatd everything yourself. No footage filmed by someone else no clips. Still images are OK.
For example:
If you go out and find 6 banana slugs in the yard, dress them up in LAB outfits, and put the skinniest one in a paper boat and play the music to SEEMANN on a kazoo. That is fanmade.

If you have a coverband and you do your own video or you have footage of YOUR band's performance. That is fanmade.

If you have images that you sketched of how you think the video for a song should have been and you put it to music - I think we can allow that.

Use your creativity.

  • Eyja's Tabs for Guitarists

Make sure to check back reguarly for new tabs. I will aim for 1 new tab every week, but it is VERY likely that it only may take a few days between tabs, so, as I said, make sure to check back regularly.

Almost all of the tabs on Affenknecht's Tablature page (and on the internet overall) are wrong. I'll make them right.

    About Eyja:

I am obsessed with musical theory and what actually is being played. I often spend several days, sometimes weeks, just to decipher a single song.
This is due to my social disability. In exchange for social skills such as going out meeting people, I am, as I said, obsessed with musical theory,
figuring out exactly how to play things and so on. I am here to answer questions and help people, especially about Rammstein's guitar-work which is complex, WAY more complex than you may think.
Tabs on the internet aren't quite there yet... but I can understand it. People aren't me, and I take things VERY VERY far.

(I mean no offense of course, I am here to help. I am a bit of a meticulous person when it comes to playing songs right (understatement). I mean... hey, if you want to play wrong, that's okay.
I want to play right, so I put EXTREME focus on learning.

Again, no offense to the other people making tabs. Props to you. I'm just insanely extreme when it comes to this.

Oh and I know... or rather, I don't know... why they don't play it as on the CD when they play LIVE.

If you can't access the files, it means I'm currently adding new ones, so refresh the page until new links appear, it will just be a matter of minutes.

Some things to keep in mind:

    - Play along with the Rammstein song as you play or read the tab. Rewind A LOT. (This is just a tip. It will help your hearing.)

    - If you want to post the .PDF files or .WAV files elsewhere, be sure to credit Eyjafjallajökull on Affenknecht.

I sometimes ignore verses when no guitars are played (may get added later), keep that in mind.

I only included the guitar parts.

There are two (or more) .PDF files depending on how many guitars were used. Guitar panned left and guitar panned right.
They are pretty similar, but although they are, they do play slightly differently at parts, so keep that in mind.

.WAV files plays a MIDI guitar exactly as the tab is written. Make use of these as it improves understanding.

There may be minor errors. I am human.

    Songs so far:

    Reise, Reise - Drop C Tuning - Updated November 2 2016

    .PDF files

    .WAV files
    Separate guitars:

    Eyja's note:
The break is using a very original guitar tune and it was very hard to decipher. Very interesting.

    Morgenstern - F, C, G, C, F, A, D (7-string) and Drop C Tuning - Updated November 2 2016

    .PDF files
    6 strings:

    .WAV files
Full composition: (All guitars in 1.)
    Separate 6 strings:
    Separate 7-strings:

    Eyja's note:
The 7-string is very hard to hear, but with frequency tools, it was easy. To hear it in the album version, max the volume and listen deeply and you'll notice its mighty slides behind the bass.
Headset helps, but... no wonder people miss it when tabbing. I wish they had brought it forth more.

    Keine Lust - Drop C Tuning - Updated November 4 2016

    .PDF files
    6 strings:

    .WAV files
Full composition: (All guitars in 1.)
    Separate guitars:

    Eyja's note:
(There's a 12 second silence in the .WAV files at the beginning for the intro.) Very complex song with a lot of play on skipping strings and accenting both single notes and throwing around chords.
It also has an insane 12/4 breakdown, split with a 8/2 and 3/2 one which people always miss. Keine Lust, sadly, is one of the most wrongly played songs.

Führe Mich - Drop D Tuning

    .PDF file
    6 strings:

.WAV file (Only composition for this one.)
    Full composition:

    Eyja's note:
I included drums for this one, and will probably add drums to all tracks just so you're not stuck listening to silence.
Führe Mich is a prime example of how cryptic the guitar-work can be. It sounds like they're repeating patterns over and over again from start to finish, but... they don't.
I did not include the clean guitar. Slow song, pretty easy to play, but with a couple of genius changes that although being minor, sound massive.

    Next song:

Suggestions for next song is welcomed.

Oh and... PMs are okay if you need help with anything or want to let me know of an error. I'm here not only to help, but also to learn and correct mistakes.

You can find the tab and the .WAV files in the first post.

This song is horrifying, beautiful, and extremely brutal.
It is one of the more brutal Rammstein songs with its two tunings used with the guitars although admittedly the 7-string is buried deeply within. (Something people have missed out on for 11 years or so.)
...When both the differently tuned guitars sing together... you're in one of the most horrific and uncomfortable places there is. It is outright mortifying.
    Another masterpiece.

    Tunings: C, G, C, F, A, D (Drop C) & F, C, G, C, F, A, D, 7-string.
    If you want to go low with 6 strings: F, C, G, C, F, A.
To help you tune low, I'll guide you with this site:

Once you're there, click on the Settings button. - Now, set Custom mode to On by clicking on it. Now, press Save Settings.
I also decided to change the default sound. To do that, click on Load Instrument and pick your desired instrument. I picked Distorted Electric.
Having done that, you'll be brought back to the main page. Press Save Settings again. Now, we're about to tune.

You'll see six buttons under six letters, if you press the buttons, you'll hear the current tuning represented by a letter. Now, we want to change that.
Above the letter you'll see that it says Edit. Click on the left-most Edit button above the first button to the left.

I should say however, you will only be using the 3 thickest strings.

    For Morgenstern in low tuning:
    F > Neutral > 0. Hit Save.
    Second button: C > Neutral > 1. Save.
    Third button: G > Neutral > 1. Save.
    Fourth button: C > Neutral > 2. Save.
    Fifth button: F > Neutral > 2. Save.
    Last button: A > Neutral > 2. Save.
    You're set!

Click on the respective buttons and use your ears to properly tune your guitar.
If you want to play in Drop C, just click on Load Tuning, scroll down the list until you find Drop C, click on it, then press the buttons and tune.

Fixed some slight errors in Morgenstern and updated all files. Happy learning.

Quick update. I will add the verse pauses... as much as it pains me, it is important that it is fun to learn, so... expect that for both Reise, Reise and Morgenstern (some day).

        Keine Lust

You can find the tab and the .WAV files in the first post.

Fast-hitting with a powerful breakdown. Has an amazing 12/4 break combined with a 8/2 and 3/2 pattern.
The build-up to the break is amazing, playing around with octave stabs.
Richard loves to cook up string-skipping patterns in melodies which are barely noticeable, and it shows in Keine Lust.
        Very complex song.

        Tuning: C, G, C, F, A, D (Drop C)

Click on Load Tuning, scroll down the list until you find Drop C, click on it, then press the buttons and tune your guitar.
