FORUM RULES ABOUT WEB-BASED LINKS TO MUSIC AND VIDEO'S

Based on latest discussions on this forum, and studiing copyright laws, it is necessary to state out new forum mandatory rules, effective immediately, so, here we are.

LINKS TO MUSIC & VIDEOS: what is legal/what is not.
NEW RULES in the forum state:

From now on in our forum users shal NOT POST TOPICS THAT containin the following :
• Requests for or links to MP3s, music videos, or other files of questionable legality
• Bootlegs

So, please do not POST A LINK TO music or videos which does not directly originate from an officially legal site.

An OFFICIALLY LEGAL SITE is: rammstein.com or rammstein.de, universal music, a legitimate music site like MTV or VIVA. The links must be direct and linked only to the approved site. Any links which have copied and transferred the music or videos from an official legal site to ANYWHERE else are NOT OFFICIAL.

• Do not ASK FOR A LINK to music or videos. If there is a legal site for either listening or viewing, xTERNAL will provide the information in the NEWS section of www.RAMMSTEIN-EUROPE.com.

WHAT YOU CAN DO in the forums: You can DISCUSS a new song or a new video.

WHAT YOU CANNOT DO in the forums: provide illegal links or ask for links, give directions of any kind as to where something might be found (examples: file-sharing, other fansites, etc.). Screen caps will be allowed (within reason) AFTER a video has been made available through an OFFICIAL LEGAL LINK. Fan remixes of songs will be allowed (within reason) after the song has been officially released.

The above restrictions are necessary not because we are being “damn babies” or “. The reason is simply that RAMMSTEIN-EUROPE has made the decision to not be a facilitator of illegal activities involving copyrighted material. The reason for that is also clear. Rammstein’s Management has shown aggressive behaviour in combating copyright infringement.

Anyone who violates the spirit of the aforementioned expansion/explanation of what the RULES mean here as applied to music and videos (and this also includes the "making of videos") will meet up with one of the following consequences:

POST BLOCKED, LINK ERASED AND WORSE.... BANNED IF NECESSARY.

If you have ANY questions about what may or may not be acceptable here, you can always PM a Moderator and ask first before posting something that might get you in trouble here.

•any links to www.youtube.com (or other sharing sites of a similar nature)are generally not allowed.
While some videos like fan made items or spoof animations are allowed, we do not allow linking to youtube. Oftentimes there is/are illegal videos of Rammstein performances to the side of the linked videos. Actual Rammstein Videos which are very illegal to be hosted by that site - therefore we cannot allow links to youtube to be allowed.

So, links to youtube are now allowed - ONLY IF it is a fanmade video by you, and does not contain bootleg footage or footage of live performances or released performances. Stills from photos found on the net are OK. A montage is OK. Clips of released footage are NOT OK.

Please try to understand that sometimes while we may allow a certain individuals fanmade videos, and deny another persons it is usually because the content in it could get the forums in trouble.

Also if some individuals post their fanmade video and it turns out to be bootleg footage that they filmed themselves at a concert and consider that "fanmade" - then we will have to reverse the ruling on allowing fanmade videos PERIOD!

Here is an update on what is considered "fanmade".
Fanmade is fanmade. You did it yourself. Like cut and paste. You creatd everything yourself. No footage filmed by someone else no clips. Still images are OK.
For example:
If you go out and find 6 banana slugs in the yard, dress them up in LAB outfits, and put the skinniest one in a paper boat and play the music to SEEMANN on a kazoo. That is fanmade.

If you have a coverband and you do your own video or you have footage of YOUR band's performance. That is fanmade.

If you have images that you sketched of how you think the video for a song should have been and you put it to music - I think we can allow that.

Use your creativity.

IF YOU SEE VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, REPORT IT BY USING THE EXCLAMATION MARK IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF RELEVANT POST.

I think one of the demos for Pussy was called "Rassmuss", but I could be wrong.

LIEBE IST FÜR ALLE DA DEMOS (2007 - 2009)
    • Ramm-Mix (demo Rammlied with no lyrics for the verses)
    • Legion (Demo Ich tu dir Weh, which uses the bridge that appears in the final version as a filler section for two verses)
    • Waidmann (demo Waidmanns Heil with slightly different lyrics)
    • Demo Haifisch (different drums, different outro and slightly different vocals)
    • (Also: B******** and Mehr and Roter Sand roam on the net, but they resemble the final version very much)
    • Demos Frühling in Paris / Oh No (some different lyrics, mainly the same lyrics in a alternative order - There were different versions mentioned in some interviews.
There's a version with heavy guitars and an Electro Pop version)
    • Lieben und Sterben / Was ich liebe / Rassmuss (Pussy demo)
    • Panterra / Pantera (complete english version of Pussy; there should also be a gothci, slow-rock version of the song with “stupid” english lyrics)
    • Seid bereit (Wiener Blut demo)
    • Augen zu (demo Liebe ist für alle da with parts of the later Wiener Blut. There's also another demo called Liebe ist für alle da that has a shorter solo)
    • Seid bereit (demo version of Wiener Blut with different effects and intro (strange clockworks, weird piano parts, Olli plays slap bass). The chorus has a very technoid main lead, like the keyboard solo during the live version).
But there's also a song from the Mutter era with the same title.
It has the lines "Wartet auf die Antwort, seid bereit"
    • Demos Donaukinder (one instrumental, one that sounds like the final version, yet mixed a bit differently and lacks a guitar solo)
    • Demo Halt (with alternate intro)
    • Demos Mein Land (one instrumental, one with keyboard solo and one beta version)
    • Sirene / Schenk mir was (Gib mir deine Augen demos, varying in length and with a slightly different text)

    Rare Live versions
    • Wilder Wein (guitar version, Berliner Wuhlheide 1998)
    • Pesnja o trevozhnoy molodosti (Song of the restless youth; the original german version was the only Feeling B-song featuring Till Lindemann; it was played live twice in Russia (St. Petersburg and Moscow) during Mutter tour in 2001)
    • Bayern (des samma mia) (Bavarian song by the band Haindling, played by Rammstein at the end of a Munich concert in 2009 and in 2011)

Featuring Rammstein members (before Rammstein several members were active in other bands, but here only those contributions are listed which actually still can be found nowadays)

    • Lindemann (solo project of Till Lindemann, ft. Peter Tägtgren)
    • Emigrate (solo project of Richard Kruspe)
    • First Arsch (80's band featuring Till Lindemann on vocals)
    • Orgasm Death Gimmick (early 90's band featuring Richard Kruspe)
    • Feeling B (early 90's band featuring Flake, Paul Landers and Schneider)
    • Die Puhdys - Wut will nicht sterben (ft. Till Lindemann as guest singer)
    • Till Lindemann and Richard Kruspe - Schtiel (single made in 2003 for the 100th anniversary of Harley Davidson)
    • Apocalyptica ft. Till Lindemann and Richard Kruspe - Helden (cover of David Bowie as part of a tribute album of 2008)
    • Tool, live @ Big Day Out 2011 (ft. Schneider on drums and Till burning the stage)

    Rammstein beyond the studio albums

This thread contains a list of Rammstein music beyond their current studio albums. Feel free to add or correct anything displayed here in a reply and I'll edit this post. All serious contributions are welcome.
I've made this thread to inform everyone about what R+ music is around. Most of the titles on the list can be found on youtube or elsewhere on the web.

    Singles and B-sides
    • Stripped (cover Depeche Mode - a slightly longer version can be found on the Depeche Mode tribute album For the masses and on some editions of the Sehnsucht-album)
    • Das Modell (cover Kraftwerk)
    • Kokain (B-side Das Modell)
    • Alter Mann (special version with female vocals) (B-side Das Modell)
    • Feuerräder (Engel Fan edition + 2007 bootleg "Kein Engel")
    • Wilder Wein (Engel Fan edition + 2007 bootleg "Kein Engel") + enhanced version on the B-side of Amerika
    • Halleluja (B-side Links 234 / Mutter limited edition)
    • Pet Semetary (B-side Ich Will, cover Ramones, live performance with Flake doing vocals)
    • 5/4 (B-side Mutter + 2007 bootleg "Kein Engel")
    • Mein Land
    • Vergiss uns nicht (B-side Mein Land)
    • Mein Herz Brennt - piano version
    • Gib Mir Deine Augen (B-side Mein Herz Brennt – piano version)
    • Los [full band version] (non-accoustic, longer version of the song with even extra verses; was only released on the "XXI - The Vinyl Box Set")

    Unreleased demos
    • Jeder lacht (unreleased 1994 demo - some of its lyrics were reused for Adios. There's the Saalfeld version and a short 01:44 version)
    • Schwarzes Glas (unreleased 1994 demo; There's also a 1996 version with the Eifersucht riff, different electronic parts and different lyrics)
    • Eisenmann (unreleased 2007 (?) - by some unofficials claimed to be a left-over from the Rosenrot period. It apeared online in the end of 2010 as a result of an unsuccesfull demo trade, as claimed by unofficials)
    • [Biest] (officially untitled track - A bootlegger dubbed this song as "Biest". Most fans postulate that this is an early demo of Tier due to the similarities in the lyrics during the chorus. The overall meaning of the song differs however)
    • Hallelujah (Demo Halleluja [note the removal of the letter 'h' in the finalized track name] This demo version differs a bit from the actual in that it doesn't have an ambient effect during the intro section, and that the bass line in the last verse is different. The demo version (Hallelujah) was featured in the Resident Evil official soundtrack and also made an appearance as a secret track after a few minutes of silence at the end of the Japanese edition of "Mutter".)

    Early and alternative versions

HERZELEID (mostly from the studio demos 1994)
    • Bringer (demo Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen; even after the demo fase, this song turned up on setlists under this name)
    • Fleisch (demo Weisses Fleisch)
    • Der Riecher (demo Du Riechst So Gut)
    • Demo Seemann / Komm in mein Boot (one of the demos is much longer than the end version and includes a verse section with whistling for vocals)
    • Hallo, Hallo [version 1] (demo Das Alte Leid, also known under the title "New Industries")
    • Hallo, Hallo [version 2] (demo Das Alte Leid, much closer to the final version) (a demo of Rammstein and Laichzeit can also be found, but they resemble the final version very much)
    • Demo Heirate Mich / Kinski (the structure of the song is quite different and the main riff is not the same)
    • Demo Alter Mann / Die Zeit / Das Wasser soll dein Spiegel sein (with very different keyboards, much slower and longer with more riffs; Till sings in a very low parlando-voice)
    • Blutige Risse (alternative version of Feuerräder)

Note: several of these songs had English versions that were never released. Sometimes some show up on the web (like "Matrose", an English version of Seemann)

SEHNSUCHT (Mostly from live demos 1995 - 1996)
    • Afrika / Sehnsucht (1995 version of Sehnsucht with less keyboards, lyrics about 50% similar to the final song and a different structure)
    • Sehnsucht - 1996 version (early version of Sehnsucht with similar lyrics, though different structure, chorus, keyboards etc.)
    • Engel (English version) (aka Angel in the booklet – US version of Sehnsucht)
    • Demo Du Hast (it exists and sometimes apears on the web, but most leaks of it are quickly removed by music labels / managements due to violation of author rights)
    • Du Hast (English version) (aka You Hate in the booklet – US version of Sehnsucht)
    • Demo Spiel Mit Mir (this had different live versions in 1996)
    • Ich was mit dir (Demo version of Spiel mit mir. Different lyrics and they used the Sonne riff in the chorus)

    MUTTER (from live demos 2000)
    • Sandmann (demo Mein Herz Brennt)
    • Links (demo Links 2-3-4)
    • Mein Herz schlägt links (other Demo version of "Links 2-3-4". It has different lyrics and a Reggae-like guitar part)
    • Die Geburt (demo version of 5/4)
    • Klitschko / Der Boxer (Sonne demo - In this version, the first chorus consists only of a count up to 10, without the lyrics "Hier kommt die Sonne"; It was planned as entrance music for the boxer Wladimir Klitschko)
    • Punk (Demo version of Feuer frei! . Different lyrics: „Es brennt, getadelt wird wer Schmerzen kennt“)
    • Demo Mutter (only difference being the last word of the song. Till says "Oh gib mir Gift!" instead of "Oh gib mir Kraft!")
    • Mutter [orchester version] (The Orchester Version of Mutter was played as outro during the 2002 Mutter tour. It's probably a track of the rejected "Mutter Orchester Album")
    • Demo Spieluhr (with slightly different lyrics mostly in the chorus)
    • Flake-Blues (demo of Zwitter)
    • Demo Rein raus
    • Tod hat ein Gesicht (demo Adios, with much darker lyrics)
    • Letzter Kuss (Demo version of Nebel. It has the guitar riff of "Ein Lied")
    • Demo Ohne Dich (from the year 2000; It is said that the song sounded much like the 'Beta version' on the Ohne dich single)
    • Ohne Dich [orchester version] (An orchestral version of Ohne dich was played as an outro during some LIFAD concerts)
    • Schwula (demo version of Mann gegen Mann already from the Mutter era)

    REISE REISE / ROSENROT STUDIO DEMOS (2002 - 2004)
    • Demo Benzin (without vocals, more rhytmic keyboards)
    • Student (other demo Benzin. Paul stated this song was the demo version of "Benzin".
First verse or chorus was "Alle bleiben stehen, alle wollen es sehen")
    • Absynth (Unreleased track. Flake uses a software synthesizer from Native Instruments called "Absynth"; this demo might be older, but the first mention of it was shortly after the Reise, Reise period. On the web some tracks can be found with this name containing aspects of Benzin)
    • Spring weiter / Spring Jungle (Part "Spring demo", part unreleased song)
    • Demo Stirb nicht vor mir (unfinished, with alternative lyrics, without female vocals and entirely in german; dates from the Mutter period. Next to this demo there should also be a version with Bobo who sings the English parts in German, but except for Flake’s mentioning in an interview there’s nothing to prove its existence. Flake once mentioned also that an alternative version of the song would be released.)
    • Ankarra (Demo version of "Zerstören". It seems to be a speech with a music box in the background (like the ending of the final song)
    • Hin und her (unsurfaced track; could be a demo or working title of Hilf Mir)
    • Holz / Ahorn (unreleased track)
    • Ich bin (demo version of Te Quiero Puta; with German lyrics. The chorus would be: „Ich bin ergeben, so ergeben“)
    • Sonntag bei Omi (Unreleased song. Could refer to Lindemann's Messer poem"Großmutter".
Paul mentioned a song which is too heavy and gross - even for a Rammstein release. He might’ve been referring to this one)
