Death Magnetic was decent but this new Lulu album is a piece of crap.
And if Mien Land was a cash in then I would have paid triple what they're selling it for just cause I really enjoyed that release and I love the song.

Well you are not wrong about greedy record labels, I will give you that! Times have moved on a lot from then and the music industry has changed beyond all recognition but the record labels are starting to lose their grip now and many bands are waking up to that. Don't get me started on bands like Metallica, lol, they are dinosaurs in a changing world and they have no respect for art.

Welcome to the year 2000! Have you seen MI:2 yet?! I hear they're coming out with a Spiderman movie next year!
Metallica have been behaving like their old selves for at least 5 years now, the Napster greed shtik is long gone.
Don't get me wrong I'm against Metallica for a bunch of other things but I long grew past the "I hate greedy bands that sell out" phase. Everybody is greedy and wants to sell out, and if the band doesn't then the record company does. And they have the upper hand.

I can't agree with that. I think they care about what they do and have too much integrity to suddenly turn into money hungry assholes who stopped caring about their art. It is good to shake people up sometimes and this certainly shook up a lot of fans. I like people who do that from time to time.

Maybe MiG was forced on them by the record label, they do like 'greatest hits' albums.

^I don't think it was a matter of not taking themselfs seriously, but rather a matter of "We have been on a 6 months hiatus and took ages to come up with a mediocre album. We are also in a midlife crises. How the fuck are we going to attract attention to us, and start making some money with the bland material that we came up with?"

I really like LIFAD, the only tracks I am not keen on are Liese and Mehr. I don't think it is their best album but it certainly isn't a bad one. I do love the way that Pussy freaks some people out, it makes me laugh. Those guys have a good sense of humour and they were having fun with this album quite a bit I think. They don't take themselves too seriously and that is a good thing.

Actually hate the album at the moment, only listening to the first two.
