This is a simple way of imitating the style of bands like White Zombie and Marilyn Manson, over all. "The beautiful people" of Marylin Manson, is quite close in guitar style to Rammstein's music, and with the drop D tuning is as simple as...:
Code:
E------------------------------------------ B------------------------------------------ G------------------------------------------ D---0--3-0-------0--3-0-------0--3-0------- A---0--3-0-------0--3-0-------0--3-0------- D---0--3-0-------0--3-0-------0--3-0------- E----------------------------------------------------------------- B----------------------------------------------------------------- G----------------------------------------------------------------- D---0--3-0------0--6--0--6--0----0--6--0--6--0-------------------- A---0--3-0------0--6--0--6--0----0--6--0--6--0-------------------- D---0--3-0------0--6--0--6--0----0--6--0--6--0---Play this 4x-----
Then, it is the tempo. tum tum/ tumtumtum tum/ tum tum/ tumtumtum tum... and you are playing Ich tu dir weh
Keep it simple, it is how it is!. Pentatonic and major scales do half of your work. Major chords for power songs, minor chords for the most intense songs (Seemann). The rest, you will work it out. But this is a very short way of getting their style in simple ten minutes.
Record some music, and then we discuss it!
