Richard was asked about the three years hiatus dedicated to other projects, this was his answer:

For me, the formula is quite simple: Everything that makes you happy, makes also the band happy. I support the idea of everyone exploring other projects and continue making music, I firmly believe that. Some need it, others don't. In my case it was necessary, because it was so much what I have to take out from me that it was generating an imbalance in the band.

It has been seven years since the last Rammstein's studio album, are you going to release new material in the short term?

When we met again, last year, we imposed us the rule of no rules. We wanted to see what happened and some things came out, but without that pressure that affects creativity. The truth is that I was sceptic to the idea of meeting again, but i was surprised, i like this group dynamics. We are in a moment in which we don't follow the industry rules anymore, that logic of "releasing an album -touring- releasing another album". I hope it will continue.

Well, they started scheduling festivals at the same time when new rehearsals started. As I learned from Google Translate, they "have some things done"...

That might explain the bands sudden exit once the last song was played. They had to feel frustrated by both the crowd ambivilancy and preference for taping the event.

This is from Rock in Vienna, they had same message last night in Monza:

I can see why they would be mad, it's like "you had one job". Nevertheless, it's also unfair to those fans who came to watch their favourite band... I expected acoustic "Ohne dich" after "Sonne", but nothing. We'll see for Wien

You know. I get it. Possibly your only chance to see them live so you want to remember it, right? But having been only to one show myself....I think you would have been hard pressed to gouge my eyes from the stage the whole night.

Just got back from Rock in Vienna. I didn't visit the forum for some time cause I wanted to have a surprise setlist. During Sonne Till's microphone broke down and Engel wings didn't work, generally there were some technical problems, however considering that it was my first Rammstein show I can surely say that it was the greatest concert in my life. Together with my two friends we were standing right in front of the stage in the first row. The feeling of fire ton my face was unforgettable I can't wait to see them in Poland. It was highly recommended not to record anything. I didn't pay much attention to the people behind me but I have the feeling that the crowd was quite engaged. They did play Ohne Dich, but as I said Till's microphone wasn't working so the other guys were playing and the crowd was singing the chorus, then they fixed it and played the whole song.

I am so happy for you that your first show was amazing! I'm the same way. My first and only show was unforgettable.
