Yep, those other fanclub sites seem to keep up the pace better than this place. Maybe the mods here are trying, but I guess they have to log in 24 times to get anything posted on this board. This post alone cost me 3 times logging in.

I can guarantee you that being passive agressive about it will not make the mods work any harder.

Hey, guys! I have been away for some time. The main reason being that I was quite busy (moved twice, new job etc.), but also because there was no major Rammstein announcment for the last year. I might have to read through some of the converastions here

BUT! I checked around all the major fanclub sites for the last couple of days, and it looks like we are going to get a tour announcment very soon (maybe even today or tomorrow). According to leaks it will be a summer 2019 tour with mostly large stadiums and festivals across Europe and North-America. In a way that means they are taking the "2017-tour"-style one step further.

Ok, so now we're definitely sure it's going to happen in the spring (early or late), because obviously a great deal of the 2019 tour has been booked (the rumors form everywhere are too big in number to doubt that), and they won't start that without the new album being out there.

In an interview for musicradar.com Paul landers has talked about the new album:

Speaking of working on music...how's the new Rammstein material coming along?

"Right now, it looks like this new record will be coming out next spring, and what we've been mainly doing is playing together in a circle, with all the guys in one room. We all go into the mixing desk and I had my PL1 prototype going direct. Same for the some of the other guys - our drummer [Christoph Schneider] has these electronic drums, so we've been using that to play a bunch of ideas together."

"It hasn't been like a pre-production where each member is alone; it's been more of an all-together kind of thing. We liked the sound of it so much that we've decided to make the record more of a band-unit recording than a bunch of guys playing separately. We'll have to see how it all ends up on the record, but the basic idea is you are hearing a band playing... you could say it's inspired by our live sound. That's exactly what we're going for. The PL1 really helped on that front because it had every sound I needed."

^Yeah, haters gonna hate, I guess. Or deny in this case. Anyhow, I liked it and just hope, like with Rammstein, that all their recorded material will somehow see the light of day. Imagine what great stuff Rammstein and Guns still have in the vault.

I didn't say it wasn't good, I haven't heard it, and I'm just quoting Slash - and I look forward to hearing what they'll come up with now, just as I would like to hear from the Rammstein vault

Saw an update from Slash the other day, saying GnR will record their first album in 25 years. So it seems like no one really considers Chinese Democracy a GnR recording, but a solo-album

The machine has grown much of course (as well as fan's expectations), so it takes time, especially if they want to take a well earned break. They have heavy, big theatrical shows, so every next tour has to live up to the previous one. Plus, they are not a small group with some roadies anymore, they are a big company of at least 30 people now. Almost every tour has to be a world tour now, has to have merchandise, many PR, publicity, interviews,.. has to have good deals to make the lot earn some as well. It's not anymore a band wanting to play, it's a business that's got to make some money, so this implies strategies, plans, targets, analysis and results. This takes time, and we see it more and more with these big bands, as the industry faces difficulties due to internet and download and so. Guns N' Roses hasn't made a record in almost a decade, Metallica took 8 years as well now... Only Iron Maiden seems to keep a rather strong pace up until now...

I simply cannot bring myself to care as much as I used to. I am done as a dedicated fan.

We know that, it’s a pity.

I agree with Waidmann I’m sure once the album is out, it Will be a great success, we have seen it every year with the movie, the tours, the albums.... Not only the dedícated fans, all the fanbase will buy it.
