  • According to Rammwiki:

After the concert an excerpt of the video Till the End was shown.
    That will explain it.

    • To be honest I just found the last few videos kind of vulgar.

      • Well, I don't want to be "that guy", but lindemann music was kinda meh since its inception. I love latest rammstein album, but lindemann seems to be all about cheap "shock content".

        • Small correction: The clip was shown after the concert ended in Cologne. Not after «Platz Eins».

I like the albums, Skills in Pills has lots of humour and the videos were fun. F&M has some serious issues in the lyrics, and I also like the videos, but not the uncensored versions, which I find seems more to be made for Zoran & Till's private amusement than any artistic reasons, and as AiH said, are vulgar.

            • I like the albums too, and most of the videos, but is it necessary to make so many vídeos that need to be censored? Is it to get more money? Publicity? Or what?

I agree, he's acting like a sad old man with something to prove. With the last few videos I've lost a lot if not all respect for him.

To be honest, I have no problem with what he wants to do with Lindemann. A couple of years ago, during the "Skills in Pills"-promo tour, he said something about "sick plans for a tour", so maybe that is what we are seeing. "Knebel" was not that bad, but "Platz Eins" just felt cheap. Not because of the porno scenes, but just the general production value. You can tell so many times that certain shots are simply filmed with a phone.

My main problem is the video that was shown in Cologne. I found a clip of it on Youtube, and it's just plain embarrising. First he gets a blowjob while taking pictures with his phone, then they continue to have sex. It ends with him entering the stage for "Deutschland", and the camera zooms in a couple of times just to show that this is really a stadium concert. While the video is shown, you can hear dead silence in the venue apart from some drunk men clapping and laughing.

Just what is he thinking? Does he think this is cool? Is he bragging?

Again I am not outraged on a moral level. Consenting adults can do what they want. But why does he drag Rammstein into this? This could actually get him in trouble and Rammstein has a giant stadium tour ahead for this year.

Again, I am not judging him for his private life. But this is stuff he puts out in public himself, and it could have consequences for him.

Ever since he showed up with his eyebrow piercing way back in 2009 at the start of the LIFAD tour, I've been saying tha the man is going to a midlife crisis. But I could never even imagine that this crisis would endure for 10 years and only get worse.

After all, nothing is better than eternal happiness, and a ham sandwich is certainly better than nothing. Therefore a ham sandwich is better than eternal happiness."

                      • ^So did I. All I have to say is that I hope this video is a sign of complete stupidity and not a sign of a severe clinical depression.

                        • The only thing that stuck out for me, was one part of the lyrics:

                          Liebe geht nicht (repeated)
                          Liebe geht gar nicht

                          Translated:
                          Love does not work (repeated)
Love does not work at all

The "love does not work" theme is actually present in much of his recent material. Especially "Wer weiss das schon", "Diamant" and "Was ich liebe".

                          • ^Love doesn't work probably because he is a complete weirdo and eventually no women can endure him.

                            • ^Well I try to keep myself out of these "What's going on with Till" discussions. Mainly because it's so hard to actually know what is going on with the guy unless you know him.

However, I must admit that something seems to have changed since around the release of "Skills in Pills". I don't know it if's the Thomalla break-up, a career choice or him losing a lot of friends and relatives the last couple of years (I remember reading that in a early Lindemann interview). But he just seems a lot more "unfiltered" in every way possible.

Again, I just wish him the best. As far as Rammstein goes, his material and performances are still great, but I must admit that I feel that some of these recent videos are a bad idea. Someone on reddit pointed out how the infamous "backstage"-clip that plays at the end of the concerts, now has the faces of the women blurred. Seems like that wasn't really planned through....

But again, this is his life and I won't judge him.

                              • ^Everything that you said only makes me more convinced that the man is depressed. Fortunately I am an anti-prophet - everything that I try to predict turns out the exact opposite to what I proclaim. So most likely this is just dumb shock value.
