^ this is the first year in a very long time I’ve actually taken time off like this. Which as it turns out was a good thing. No way I could’ve worked last week. I’m still recovering and even talking on the phone is wearing me out today.

In in other news....I’m pretty sure my transmission just tried to commit suicide. Why must it always be the transmission? Can’t I have some inexpensive car repairs?

I've worked every day except for Christmas and January 1st. And technically I did some work at home during the afternoon on both days. Hard life, but still very happy

Saw the new Star Wars and it was really really good. Less flashy than the last one and much more story. Not going to give any spoilers but I guessed some stuff correctly and there was much sadness when I remembered that Carrie Fischer won’t be here for the next one.

ugh. Been sick since Christmas. Been on vacation the whole week which made it slightly better and I really feel that rum makes the best cough syrup.
