FORUM RULES ABOUT WEB-BASED LINKS TO MUSIC AND VIDEO'S

Based on latest discussions on this forum, and studiing copyright laws, it is necessary to state out new forum mandatory rules, effective immediately, so, here we are.

LINKS TO MUSIC & VIDEOS: what is legal/what is not.
NEW RULES in the forum state:

From now on in our forum users shal NOT POST TOPICS THAT containin the following :
• Requests for or links to MP3s, music videos, or other files of questionable legality
• Bootlegs

So, please do not POST A LINK TO music or videos which does not directly originate from an officially legal site.

An OFFICIALLY LEGAL SITE is: rammstein.com or rammstein.de, universal music, a legitimate music site like MTV or VIVA. The links must be direct and linked only to the approved site. Any links which have copied and transferred the music or videos from an official legal site to ANYWHERE else are NOT OFFICIAL.

• Do not ASK FOR A LINK to music or videos. If there is a legal site for either listening or viewing, xTERNAL will provide the information in the NEWS section of www.RAMMSTEIN-EUROPE.com.

WHAT YOU CAN DO in the forums: You can DISCUSS a new song or a new video.

WHAT YOU CANNOT DO in the forums: provide illegal links or ask for links, give directions of any kind as to where something might be found (examples: file-sharing, other fansites, etc.). Screen caps will be allowed (within reason) AFTER a video has been made available through an OFFICIAL LEGAL LINK. Fan remixes of songs will be allowed (within reason) after the song has been officially released.

The above restrictions are necessary not because we are being “damn babies” or “. The reason is simply that RAMMSTEIN-EUROPE has made the decision to not be a facilitator of illegal activities involving copyrighted material. The reason for that is also clear. Rammstein’s Management has shown aggressive behaviour in combating copyright infringement.

Anyone who violates the spirit of the aforementioned expansion/explanation of what the RULES mean here as applied to music and videos (and this also includes the "making of videos") will meet up with one of the following consequences:

POST BLOCKED, LINK ERASED AND WORSE.... BANNED IF NECESSARY.

If you have ANY questions about what may or may not be acceptable here, you can always PM a Moderator and ask first before posting something that might get you in trouble here.

•any links to www.youtube.com (or other sharing sites of a similar nature)are generally not allowed.
While some videos like fan made items or spoof animations are allowed, we do not allow linking to youtube. Oftentimes there is/are illegal videos of Rammstein performances to the side of the linked videos. Actual Rammstein Videos which are very illegal to be hosted by that site - therefore we cannot allow links to youtube to be allowed.

So, links to youtube are now allowed - ONLY IF it is a fanmade video by you, and does not contain bootleg footage or footage of live performances or released performances. Stills from photos found on the net are OK. A montage is OK. Clips of released footage are NOT OK.

Please try to understand that sometimes while we may allow a certain individuals fanmade videos, and deny another persons it is usually because the content in it could get the forums in trouble.

Also if some individuals post their fanmade video and it turns out to be bootleg footage that they filmed themselves at a concert and consider that "fanmade" - then we will have to reverse the ruling on allowing fanmade videos PERIOD!

Here is an update on what is considered "fanmade".
Fanmade is fanmade. You did it yourself. Like cut and paste. You creatd everything yourself. No footage filmed by someone else no clips. Still images are OK.
For example:
If you go out and find 6 banana slugs in the yard, dress them up in LAB outfits, and put the skinniest one in a paper boat and play the music to SEEMANN on a kazoo. That is fanmade.

If you have a coverband and you do your own video or you have footage of YOUR band's performance. That is fanmade.

If you have images that you sketched of how you think the video for a song should have been and you put it to music - I think we can allow that.

Use your creativity.

IF YOU SEE VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, REPORT IT BY USING THE EXCLAMATION MARK IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF RELEVANT POST.

Or, the band could play at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. The stadion has a capacity of 100 000. The 60 000 tickets for the Berlin shows this year sold out in less than two days per date. In addition the website went down constantley, so it could have been sold out much faster.

It seems like Till alone announced three shows in Russia on 9-10-11 June, but since he said Tallinn on the 4.th, which is on the 11th and Finland is on the 9th, he might have the dates a little mixed up

Rain is always a risk with outdoor shows. More so up here than down your end

In Galicia it rains a lot, That's why I don't go there during my summer holidays. In 2014 and 2016 it rained during The festival.

According to the Facebook site of "Rock Am Ring", the festival apperances of Rammstein on the twin festivals ("Rock Am Ring" and "Rock Im Park") will be the only performances by the band in Germany in 2017. I guess they would not dare to lie about this, since this could impact the ticket sales on competing festivals.

Knowing that, the countries which the bands visits this year is rather unusual. I think they might strategically leave out the places like the UK, Italy and only play two shows in Germany, because they will visit those places anyway in 2018. Maybe they want to build up the hype for 2018 in that way?

I could be wrong, it seems a lot more dates are being played than I first thought.

So.. just a bit of fun while I'm bored.. what do you think the new live setlist could be? Here's mine with effects noted:

                        1. Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen? (new entrance)
                        2. Mein Land
                        3. Keine Lust (usual CO2 blasts)
                        4. Weisses Fleisch (return of spark boots)
                        5. Feuer Frei (flame masks)
                        6. Mutter (ohne dich style affect used like the MIG tour)
                        7. Adios (flame guitar)
                        8. Mein Teil (cooking pot again)
                        9. Rein Raus *OR* New Song
                        10. Links 234 (explosion)
                        11. Buck Dich (dildo)
                        12. Haifisch (maybe the return of the boat)
                        13. Du Hast (usual fire and bow)
                        14. Heirate mich
                        ---------------
                        15. Rammstein (return of the coat rising out of the ground would be cool)
                        16. Sonne (usual flames)
                        17. Ich Will (usual explosions)
                        18. Pussy (dick cannon and confetti)

This is based on songs they tend to play, a few older fan favourites which were played in the past and a live premiere of Mein Land or maybe a new song. That and it's a mix up from the last tour setlist

^Too be honest, I think you are pretty much on spot here. "Wollt ihr das bett in flammen sehen" would make a great opener, and I was always suprised why it wasn't used yet. Definitley "Weisses Fleisch", "Rein Raus", "Rammstein", "Mutter" and "Haifisch" are good guesses. They have been played a lot, but not in recent years. I think at least two of those songs will make it into the setlist.

When it comes to "Heirate mich" and "Adios", there is a good chance, since the band did have some suprises in 2016. "Mein Land" is very unlikely I think. I think the song was simply a leftover from "Liebe ist für alle da" that was supposed to promote the best-off "Made in Germany". I am also a little sceptical about "Pussy", "Bück Dich" and "Mein Teil" returning. Those songs have been played a lot during the LIFAD and MIG tour, so they might make a return later on in 2018-2019.

If I can change songs, I would make a few changes. First of all, I think they will keep "Hallelujah", "Zerstören" and maybe "Reise, Reise" and "Seemann" or "Stripped". Those songs really got a good reception, and I think the band would like to keep those. They will most likely remove mainstream hits like "Mein Herz Brennt", "Ich tu dir weh", "Amerika" and replace those. I am also confident that the band will finally try to pull off "Rosenrot". They rehearsed it a couple of times along with "Spieluhr" for the 2016 tour, so I think they will give it a new try. Finally, the first single of the new album might be played live.

All in all, I doubt the 2017 tour will be completely different from the last couple of tours. They are in the middle of an album production, and they might just have around 20 concerts planned. BUT, I have been wrong before.

I did wonder about Rosenrot. They've rehearsed it I think on both the LIFAD and MIG rehearsals. I can't help but think though that because it didn't get through to those show it will forever struggle to make the cut when they have other stronger songs. It lacks a certain energy if played live I think.

I do get what you mean about Mein Land. It has energy but perhaps it just doesn't work well live and when it was released it did seem to devide fans.

I'm totally hoping for a new song/single but I'm not sure how much they want to preview before an official release. However with the timing of the albums release it could quite likely to happen!

It could even be that we get pretty much the same show as 2016 with a few changes. I don't think they're playing any festival the same as this year so they may assume it will be a different audience.

My dream set, now that people are predicting:
                              1. Ramm 4
                              2. Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen
                              3. Spieluhr
                              4. Halleluja
                              5. Zerstören
                              6. Feuer frei!
                              7. Links 2 3 4
                              8. Asche zu Asche
                              9. Wilder Wein
                              10. Seemann
                              11. Klavier
                              12. Sonne
                              13. Weisses Fleisch
                              14. Ich tu dir weh
                              15. Engel

                              ENCORE
                              16. Rammstein
                              17. (New Song)
                              18. Ohne dich

^Good list! But remember, the band has a list of "untouchables" which get played on every tour. Your setlist lacks "Du Hast", "Ich Will" and "Keine Lust". They will probably never drop those songs from their setlist.
