FORUM RULES ABOUT WEB-BASED LINKS TO MUSIC AND VIDEO'S

Based on latest discussions on this forum, and studiing copyright laws, it is necessary to state out new forum mandatory rules, effective immediately, so, here we are.

LINKS TO MUSIC & VIDEOS: what is legal/what is not.
NEW RULES in the forum state:

From now on in our forum users shal NOT POST TOPICS THAT containin the following :
• Requests for or links to MP3s, music videos, or other files of questionable legality
• Bootlegs

So, please do not POST A LINK TO music or videos which does not directly originate from an officially legal site.

An OFFICIALLY LEGAL SITE is: rammstein.com or rammstein.de, universal music, a legitimate music site like MTV or VIVA. The links must be direct and linked only to the approved site. Any links which have copied and transferred the music or videos from an official legal site to ANYWHERE else are NOT OFFICIAL.

• Do not ASK FOR A LINK to music or videos. If there is a legal site for either listening or viewing, xTERNAL will provide the information in the NEWS section of www.RAMMSTEIN-EUROPE.com.

WHAT YOU CAN DO in the forums: You can DISCUSS a new song or a new video.

WHAT YOU CANNOT DO in the forums: provide illegal links or ask for links, give directions of any kind as to where something might be found (examples: file-sharing, other fansites, etc.). Screen caps will be allowed (within reason) AFTER a video has been made available through an OFFICIAL LEGAL LINK. Fan remixes of songs will be allowed (within reason) after the song has been officially released.

The above restrictions are necessary not because we are being “damn babies” or “. The reason is simply that RAMMSTEIN-EUROPE has made the decision to not be a facilitator of illegal activities involving copyrighted material. The reason for that is also clear. Rammstein’s Management has shown aggressive behaviour in combating copyright infringement.

Anyone who violates the spirit of the aforementioned expansion/explanation of what the RULES mean here as applied to music and videos (and this also includes the "making of videos") will meet up with one of the following consequences:

POST BLOCKED, LINK ERASED AND WORSE.... BANNED IF NECESSARY.

If you have ANY questions about what may or may not be acceptable here, you can always PM a Moderator and ask first before posting something that might get you in trouble here.

•any links to www.youtube.com (or other sharing sites of a similar nature)are generally not allowed.
While some videos like fan made items or spoof animations are allowed, we do not allow linking to youtube. Oftentimes there is/are illegal videos of Rammstein performances to the side of the linked videos. Actual Rammstein Videos which are very illegal to be hosted by that site - therefore we cannot allow links to youtube to be allowed.

So, links to youtube are now allowed - ONLY IF it is a fanmade video by you, and does not contain bootleg footage or footage of live performances or released performances. Stills from photos found on the net are OK. A montage is OK. Clips of released footage are NOT OK.

Please try to understand that sometimes while we may allow a certain individuals fanmade videos, and deny another persons it is usually because the content in it could get the forums in trouble.

Also if some individuals post their fanmade video and it turns out to be bootleg footage that they filmed themselves at a concert and consider that "fanmade" - then we will have to reverse the ruling on allowing fanmade videos PERIOD!

Here is an update on what is considered "fanmade".
Fanmade is fanmade. You did it yourself. Like cut and paste. You creatd everything yourself. No footage filmed by someone else no clips. Still images are OK.
For example:
If you go out and find 6 banana slugs in the yard, dress them up in LAB outfits, and put the skinniest one in a paper boat and play the music to SEEMANN on a kazoo. That is fanmade.

If you have a coverband and you do your own video or you have footage of YOUR band's performance. That is fanmade.

If you have images that you sketched of how you think the video for a song should have been and you put it to music - I think we can allow that.

Use your creativity.

IF YOU SEE VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, REPORT IT BY USING THE EXCLAMATION MARK IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF RELEVANT POST.

I guess it could happen. Just seems odd that so far we are only hearing about outdoor shows (including Mexico) and there won't be long between the official tour start and festival season. In the past the new show is designed for indoor arenas and later adapted for the outdoor shows so it's kind of interesting that already the show will be festival ready.. unless they are keeping with the 2016/17 stage design which would be disappointing. The main structure that Flake, Schnieder and Oli perform on is the same since LIFAD just different panels over the top since MIG tour.

So I guess Richard has been waiting to release this album closer to the Rammstein album to ride the hype train? Makes sense I guess. I don't think the last album made much of an impact.

^ Wouldn't he get more out of it then, if he waited till after the R+ release?

makes sense, otherwise to release it close to the R+ album means that it might be overshadowed

RammsteinBelgium posted some stuff last night:

31.08.2018: Hot rumors: Will Rammstein be on tour with a new album?

What is going on with Rammstein? You do not traditionally hear much from the band's environment. Whether the announced album 2018 is still coming, remains in the stars. The latest rumor: a stadium concert in Dresden.

The Rammsteiner's way of communicating is traditionally very reserved: The band usually wraps themselves in a mantle of silence, only when there is actually something to announce, finally, a message.

                    Nothing new in the East
As a reminder: The last album "Liebe Ist Für Alle Da" was released in 2009 - 9 years ago!

After that, Rammstein has toured Germany twice and regularly at festivals. Only in 2016 they presented "Ramm4" as a new song for the festival tour. The release of a new album is not yet confirmed.
                    Band crisis?
Several times you heard about various corners, that behind the scenes it probably doesn't run so good. The band members are not really in agreement with Till Lindemann's solo album from 2015, they say.

In September 2017, Richard Z. Kruspe commented on a possible new album and a possible farewell to the band: "I was very skeptical when it came to go back into the studio with Rammstein, because last time we got to the edge of the Band resolution (...) For some reason though, I think it will be our last album. "
                    Viva Mexico
In July 2018, the Berliners announced two concerts at the turn of the year in Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. It was said that the band there would also play new songs and the album would be in post-production.

Allegedly, it should appear in 2018. The hopes have recently been dampened again, as the paragraph to which this information referred, was deleted on the organizers side again. What is going on there?
                    Dresden 2019?
As regioactive learned from a reliable source, the band plans to play 2019 shows in Germany in any case. Specifically, it was said that Rammstein will give a concert in June at the stadium of Dynamo Dresden. So is a stadium tour coming up? If so, this would be the first on German soil.

But beware: official is this information not yet. With Rammstein, something always changes.

Interesting... Did any of you ever heard before about band members' malcontent regarding the Lindemann- project?

For them, that is just another tuesday. But if they allow Richard to have his own side project, then they should also accept Till. My gut tells me that this is just Richard being butt hurt and envious of Till's success.

At the pace that they now produce new material, it will definitely be the last one. They will all die of old age before being able to complete the 8th studio album.

I guess that ship as sailed, assuming this was ever true to begin with.

It it way more realistic to expect new shows next year than the new album anyway. And there is zero chance they indeed release it this year. If that were to happen, we would already have an offical announcement with the european tour and the markting for the album would not have already started months ago, but it would also have been ramped up significantly by now.
"Which is better, eternal happiness or a ham sandwich? It would appear that eternal happiness is better, but this is really not so! After all, nothing is better than eternal happiness, and a ham sandwich is certainly better than nothing. Therefore a ham sandwich is better than eternal happiness."

Hmmm, the text does imply that more than one band member seemed to have issues with Till's project. Anyone ever heard of that?
And if it was so for Richard, than I guess that's over now, as Richard will now be on the new Lindemann album. In song about friendship on top of that.

I'm pretty sure the Dresden stuff is true indeed, but I don't think they'll go for another tour without presenting new material first. I guess they went too far promising this and that already to pull that off.

As Lifad came out, I guess we all figured out there would only be one more album. I remember us (Snake and me) saying that in early 2012 already.

I haven't heard anything, the only person from the band I heard talking about the Lindemann project is RZK, and he didn't seem upset or anything. But I think it'll be Till on Richard's new CD. He talked about it, and how he wrote it.

The next Lindemann CD should be the Hänsel & Gretel 'soundtrack' with maybe some additional tracks, to be released April 2019.

^Yes, indeed, I got it the other way around. It's Till performing on the Emigrate album.

Sounds like the new Lindemann album is going to be way more serious and mature than the previous one (which I actually liked though).
