FORUM RULES ABOUT WEB-BASED LINKS TO MUSIC AND VIDEO'S

Based on latest discussions on this forum, and studiing copyright laws, it is necessary to state out new forum mandatory rules, effective immediately, so, here we are.

LINKS TO MUSIC & VIDEOS: what is legal/what is not.
NEW RULES in the forum state:

From now on in our forum users shal NOT POST TOPICS THAT containin the following :
• Requests for or links to MP3s, music videos, or other files of questionable legality
• Bootlegs

So, please do not POST A LINK TO music or videos which does not directly originate from an officially legal site.

An OFFICIALLY LEGAL SITE is: rammstein.com or rammstein.de, universal music, a legitimate music site like MTV or VIVA. The links must be direct and linked only to the approved site. Any links which have copied and transferred the music or videos from an official legal site to ANYWHERE else are NOT OFFICIAL.

• Do not ASK FOR A LINK to music or videos. If there is a legal site for either listening or viewing, xTERNAL will provide the information in the NEWS section of www.RAMMSTEIN-EUROPE.com.

WHAT YOU CAN DO in the forums: You can DISCUSS a new song or a new video.

WHAT YOU CANNOT DO in the forums: provide illegal links or ask for links, give directions of any kind as to where something might be found (examples: file-sharing, other fansites, etc.). Screen caps will be allowed (within reason) AFTER a video has been made available through an OFFICIAL LEGAL LINK. Fan remixes of songs will be allowed (within reason) after the song has been officially released.

The above restrictions are necessary not because we are being “damn babies” or “. The reason is simply that RAMMSTEIN-EUROPE has made the decision to not be a facilitator of illegal activities involving copyrighted material. The reason for that is also clear. Rammstein’s Management has shown aggressive behaviour in combating copyright infringement.

Anyone who violates the spirit of the aforementioned expansion/explanation of what the RULES mean here as applied to music and videos (and this also includes the "making of videos") will meet up with one of the following consequences:

POST BLOCKED, LINK ERASED AND WORSE.... BANNED IF NECESSARY.

If you have ANY questions about what may or may not be acceptable here, you can always PM a Moderator and ask first before posting something that might get you in trouble here.

•any links to www.youtube.com (or other sharing sites of a similar nature)are generally not allowed.
While some videos like fan made items or spoof animations are allowed, we do not allow linking to youtube. Oftentimes there is/are illegal videos of Rammstein performances to the side of the linked videos. Actual Rammstein Videos which are very illegal to be hosted by that site - therefore we cannot allow links to youtube to be allowed.

So, links to youtube are now allowed - ONLY IF it is a fanmade video by you, and does not contain bootleg footage or footage of live performances or released performances. Stills from photos found on the net are OK. A montage is OK. Clips of released footage are NOT OK.

Please try to understand that sometimes while we may allow a certain individuals fanmade videos, and deny another persons it is usually because the content in it could get the forums in trouble.

Also if some individuals post their fanmade video and it turns out to be bootleg footage that they filmed themselves at a concert and consider that "fanmade" - then we will have to reverse the ruling on allowing fanmade videos PERIOD!

Here is an update on what is considered "fanmade".
Fanmade is fanmade. You did it yourself. Like cut and paste. You creatd everything yourself. No footage filmed by someone else no clips. Still images are OK.
For example:
If you go out and find 6 banana slugs in the yard, dress them up in LAB outfits, and put the skinniest one in a paper boat and play the music to SEEMANN on a kazoo. That is fanmade.

If you have a coverband and you do your own video or you have footage of YOUR band's performance. That is fanmade.

If you have images that you sketched of how you think the video for a song should have been and you put it to music - I think we can allow that.

Use your creativity.

IF YOU SEE VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, REPORT IT BY USING THE EXCLAMATION MARK IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF RELEVANT POST.

The tour was shorter a) because it was a festival tour (apart from Berlin) and they played all relevant festivals they could, most festivals are on weekends, so two shows per week. And b) The stage was smaller because the stage-set had to fit with the available festival-stages, and therefore they had fewer trucks and crew, as the didn't have to set up their own stage from scratch. And last c) The set were shorter than usual because most festivals have a time-span for the bands to perform in, and they had to comply with that.

That being said, the set-list was impressive I only missed hearing Wienerblut and it was great, great, great to finally seeing them for the first time, but I would hope that next time out, its their "own" tour, with a full length set and whichever stage THEY decide to travel with.

        - A: Hey man, wasn't this just the band's best tour ever?
        - B: Nooo, man! The tour only consisted of 25 dates! They did way longer ones!

        ??????
Pull your fucking head out of your fucking ass. Yes, the amount of dates fucking matter, because the more they fucking tour, the more fucking likely they are to visiting your fucking country, and the more fucking likely that you can actually fucking watch them live. The more fucking fans get the opportunity to fucking watch their fucking favorite band, the fucking better it is. That is why the fucking LIFAD tour was fucking good in spite of being dedicate to a fucking medicore album. But I guess since you had the fucking chance to see them live without needing to fucking take a fucking plane, this little detail doesn't even fucking matter to you.

After all, nothing is better than eternal happiness, and a ham sandwich is certainly better than nothing. Therefore a ham sandwich is better than eternal happiness."

Well if you had some relevant festivals they would have swung by your part of the world. So blame the promoters and festival-organisers in your way and not the band and not Waidmann. In 2013 they played four dates in your part and none in mine, that did't make me go off the rails. If you want people to take your rants seriously, use a proper language and now go and wash your mouth with soap!

            x2

In 2010 they came to BBK, a very relevant festival, but not this year. I was negative about it and I was right

There are other factors that matter when they choose the dates and places, they have never specially love Spain so ... Not a surprise. I'm really tired of this, this is my last post about this matter, now I am in a bad mood.

I don't care if people take my rants seriously. In fact, I think I reached a point where a give 0 fucks about everything.

^I never meant it personal, man, I was talking from an objective point of view. Lots of bands do great tour without visiting Belgium (like Guns N' Roses or Ost+Front now visiting every country for the 2nd time but not Belgium so far)

Rest assured: I'll never see some of my favorite bands like Eisbrecher, In Extremo or Blutengel by staying in this country, so I get the feeling. But at least you knew this was happening. Eisbrecher announced their first show in Belgium (on Graspop Metal Festival) only to cancel a few weeks in advance without organizing any alternative show or creating the possibility for a refund if you bought a ticket. And on top of that: they never anounced the cancellation themselves, nor did they adress the Belgian fans in any way. We only got the official statement of the festival saying that they weren't coming (without hearing why or any information or apologies from anyone).

calm down, try living in Australia! They have only been here in 2001 and 2011 so are not expected back until 2021! So I have to take a plane because it's an island and finally the flights to anywhere are long and expensive! You live in Portugal for to fly to Paris it would take about an hour. I live near Brisbane and that is my flight to Sydney! And I haven't left the country

i used to live in Scotland, again where they have only played twice, so I had to go to England 4 times to see them. If you were that big a fan you would make the trip, you had since October to prepare and save, even if it was for one day.

i saw them in Chicago and took 24 hours out of a family vacation in Orlando to do it, I flew to Chicago on the Friday morning took bus to Chicago open air then saw them then bussed it back to airport and got first flight back to Orlando - cost me about $400 (approx) and the flight was 2.5 hours (again did not leave the country). I was exhausted and had not slept much but I then went and enjoyed a day in Universal Studioes on about 3 hours sleep - I don't regret it as it was and adventure and I really enjoyed myself!

During their final concert of this tour in Buenos Aires, a fan crashed the stage during "Sonne". Security imidiently appeared, but for some reason stopped trying to restrain the uninvited guest. Till then had a little fun with the fan, even giving him the microphone during "Und die Welt zählt laut bis zehn".

Later on, he got a little more irritating and they finally got rid of him. This insident is a little scary though in my opinion. If he would have appeared even earlier when the horizontal pyro-jets were on, he could have been seriously injured.

The facebook page of Rammwiki has a link with the clip.

The guy was really lucky not to be burnt on stage. The worst thing is that when Till gave him the microphone he didn't know the lyrics and said something completely random.

In Poland some girls were standing on the back of stage. I was wondering if it was safe considering all the pyrotechnics. Of course as long as they were standing in the back nothing bad could happen.
