  • Stahlmann, Eisbrecher and Megaherz

While listening to Rammstein, I've discovered some very interesting, similar neue deutche härte bands. Megaherz and Eisbrecher I knew before but had not listened to them, but Stahlmann was a new discovery for me, and I think the band is not yet very well known overall. I post some of my favourite songs from these bands:

    Stahlmann:

Hass Mich, Lieb Mich - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYMWOw3M9hc

    Tanzmaschine - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRoi2_4ri0k

    Eisbrecher:

Misstück - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGTXF7cyJ6w - This is origininally a Megaherz-classic, but since the singer is the same, Eisbrecher re-released the song on their album in 2012.

    Verrückt - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjO1bMHbDpY

    Megaherz:

    Jagdzeit - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGXTT7s01pw

Rock Me Amadeus (Megaherz version) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cahxy0JN_BY

What do you guys think of these bands and do you know any other songs you could recommend?

    Oh very excellent! *watches*

I haven't hear Stahlmann before, they have a very Eisbrecher-like sound. Definitely going to add them to my playlist...

    Thanks for the tip

Edit: *gasp* They aren't part of the music genome project!? Hmm...*goes to check iTunes*

So the new Eisbrecher video comes out today. Have to admit, I'm pretty excited for this. The song is amazing!

Aww. The new video is out, apparently killed the Sonic Seducer servers...and the link Eisbrecher provided is not available outside of Germany.

              *many sad faces*

*still plans to buy the album*

Under the YouTube video there is a link to download, and you can hear the song there without downloading it. It's a pretty good number. I don't know the band very well, but it makes me want to hear more.

I know! I absolutely love them! I have *counts* 6 of their albums, as well as 2 from Megaherz (predecessor). I have them in with Rammstein for my usual daily music lists...

                  Unheilig and Samael as well.

                    Thx, The Rose!

I really like this band I must say. For me they almost have no fillers, every album is good, and almost every song is very neat. This one too .

^If I should want to buy 1-2 of their CD's, which would you recommend?

Die Hölle muss warten is my personal favorite! I actually like every song on the record, which is quite rare for me. You can find it entirely on youtube, if you'd like an impression. Eiszeit is a good one as well.

I have both of these as well, and concur with Waidmann's assessment.

Thanks. I'm going to Lübeck tomorrow morning, so if I get an overdose of Christmas Markets, I might check out the local record-store. I doubt they'll be easy to find in a shop here in Copenhagen, but then there is always Amazon ;-)

I cannot stress enough that all of you should also check out the band Ost+Front (if you haven't already)! Here's for example Nur für Dich: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqf_LO0SNtI . This is a quiet one, but they have lots of harder ones as well, like for example Denkelied : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqf_LO0SNtI .
